The tiebreaker woes/nightmare continues for Hubie vs Grigor. That is like 7 tiebreakers in a row for Grigor vs Hubie since 2021.

That is certainly not an advertisement for depth quality in women's tennis.

Well the irritating Moutet won the 1st set 6-2 vs an out of sorts Sinner. Hard to believe Sinner will not be able to right the ship here. Speaking of irritating Moutet, we have the beyond irritating Mary Carillo on the commentary now. Thanks so much Peacock. Your coverage is as bad as it gets.

Don't sleep on Grigor Dimitrov. RG: "Covered in red dust - and blood - from more than one fall during that match, you can see what it means to him when he celebrates with his fans after a 7-6(5), 6-4, 7-6(3) success." vs Hubert Hurkacz.

The ship back on course. This is not the WTA.

Well, Sinner just evened the set count, but going into that game was winning only 59% of first serves ??

Moutet has hit 15 drop shots in 17 games (getting out my abacus) or almost 1 dropper per game played. He can and has done more than that before

If I can can read the RG sites' radar plots, Moutet's 15 drop shots got him 4 winners, 5 UFEs, and 1 forced error, with 5 "rally continued"

UPDATE: Just as I finished typing, Sinner quickly broke Moutet to go up a break in the third set.

No doubt, and I will probably enjoy it. The irritating Moutet not one of my favorites.

Not a favourite of mine either. My wife can't stand the bloke either. That is one weird grip he has on his serve.

I agree with your wife. Yes he is way too much toward the backhand side on his serve grip. I guess maybe because he is so vertically challenged.

Sinner now a better player in every department. Such an amazing temperament. Easily the best temperament of all the emerging younger players.

Moutet gets foot-faulted on an underarm serve...ha, ha. That's a first.

Smooth sailing out there for Sinner. Super calm sea's. I would love to see Moutet play clay court maestro Iga Swiatek though.
