Report: Andy Murray to Coach Novak Djokovic

Checked my calendar and it is NOT April Fool's Day. Per Simon Bragg at The Telegraph, Andy Murray will help coach Nole for Aussie Open.

Yes, I read this earlier today. Whatever next? Being coached by someone you flattened in four Aussie finals! I could better understand it if it was the other way around. Sometimes I think the game is going mad.

Good question what Novak is looking for. When Fed went through a succession of "uber-coaches", you could see he was focusing on something: Jose Hugeras working on clay and drop shots, Tony Roche volley, Edgerg perhaps net tactics?, Ivan Ljubicic - DTL backhand.

Novak? Andy is a better net player, but i doubt that.

Perhaps, after releasing Goran, Novak just needs a drinking buddy

I think Novak may be subject to a common celebrity disease...fear of not being in the news!

There is definitely a little bit of that going on with Novak one feels.

There is one key area Sir Andy can give Novak pointers on, a key tactic they share -- acting injured after losing points.

Andy is far, far more convincing.

Sorry, I tried to resist ....

I like that ! But, in fairness to Andy, he did a lot better at his sport than JJ in the NBA.

Andy Murray to coach Novak Djokovic? What a clown show this appears to be. But...without rush to judgement we shall see how it plays out. But on paper...it is beyond ridiculous. Like a "Big Time Wrestling" stunt.
