    wrist position on backhand volleys

Should the wrist be laid back in the same position as when hitting a forehand volley? In the Bollettieri bh volley video, the player doing the against the wall drill appears to have the wrist flexed completely in the opposite direction, which would seem likely to cause pain at impact.

We'll get into that in the next article on the backhand volley in the Advanced Tennis section, but generally the wrist should be neutral. That kid probably is flexed a tad too far back.

Check Nick's article on the site on the backhand volley. The clip is there.
