What a fiasco...a total joke. I lasted about three minutes before switching off. It's all about hype and money.

And as for Jake Paul taking on Antony Joshus, that was an even bigger joke! I mean, a YouTuber takes on a professional boxer in a boxer's domain. He had a about as much chance of winning that fight as me. Yet people buy into it and give these guys 100 million paydays. You can't make this stuff up!

It is absurd. This stuff is making the Laver Cup look like it has an inkling of value.

Who was it that said..."tennis is beginning to resemble BIG TIME WRESTLING"? I saw a bit of it on youtube. The most interesting thing to me is that, who in their right mind would pay for such a farce and make the effort to appear there and actually watch it? Who would participate in such a ridiculous format with two ridiculous characters? I did see Sabalenka dancing the macaroni dance or whatever it is called. She should have a MYFANS page. She probably already does. Soft porn. Objectify women? Oh yeah...lest I forget. Women are equal to men. This event is an abject lesson on what has gone wrong in the tennis world. It actually metaphors life again. Who said that...once upon a time? It all comes to fruition...eventually. Yes, even my recent rants about a tennis world without Roger Federer. The Next Gen format is setting tennis "fans" up for the next shoe to drop in the world of fake tennis. That too, has come to fruition. It doesn't bring me any pleasure whatsoever to say...I told you so. The voice in the wilderness...don_quixote.

Oh yeah. As for Nick "The Jerk" Kyrgios...he is absolutely the last person you want to be out front promoting your sport. As a player, it would be nice to have in the draw of any tournament if he showed up to play like he did versus Roger Federer. But that is wishful thinking. It's not that he is a bad or evil person, it is just that his level of dysfunction is so high he cannot function as a normal tennis competitor. Which is a shame. He had a choice every time he stepped on the court...Good Nick or Bad Nick. What's it going to be? Somehow it was Bad Nick way too often and so rarely Good Nick. What is that? Basically...it's retarded. Developmentally challenged. He plays his role so convincingly though. It's no act. He owns it. He's retarded. That's a shame. A waste of talent and a waste of time. Severely retarded.
