It was a pleasure collaborating with Joel Drucker and Giancarlo Andreani to bring to tennisplayer.net insights about learning to juggle for mental conditioning.

Juggling is not just a physical skill. It increases focus, heightens awareness and promotes presence.... which explains why Carlos Alcaraz and now many more elite tennis players juggle as part of mental conditioning. Juggling is a practical training tool for strengthening the mind, deepening self knowledge and expanding one’s capacity for growth.

The great footage of Federer juggling as a teenager in the article made me recall Federer’s Dartmouth commencement speech when he spoke of the mindset required for tennis: intensity, clarity and focus. All cultivated thru juggling!

Please follow along the video tutorial which shows the 5 step progression to learn to juggle and let me know how it goes! Remember, drops (just like errors) are normal, and we grow by challenging ourselves to do hard things.

People have asked where to get quality juggling balls once you graduate beyond tennis balls. Higgins Brothers makes professional quality balls: a set of 3 balls for $31.99 on Amazon. https://a.co/d/08EtqBXz
