"Tennis Players as Works of Art" wins IPPY Award
Nice surprise this morning. The book "Tennis Players as Works" of Art by David Linebarger, published by
Atmospherepress, was awarded first place in General Nonfiction at the largest international competition for indie books.
David's book was earlier named one of eight "Outstanding Books of the Year" (Original Concept) at the 2025 IPPY Awards and was selected as the Book of the Year by Inside Tennis Magazine. The book features nearly 70 artworks -- including one of mine! -- (paintings, sketches, photography, graffiti) from over 40 artists, covering topics such as "[Wimbledon Stories," "Backhands," and "Bad Boys".
