Volley with Your Feet?

    Volley with Your Feet?

    I have frequently come across the phrase "volley with your feet". Does anyone know exactly what that means. Is it the weight transfer from back foot to front foot? Is it taking more steps after the weight transfer? Is it holding the racquet steady at contact and creating the follow through with the feet? Is it the preparation with the feet prior to contact? Clarification would be appreciated.
