I've been playing with a Prince Graphite oversize 107 for 20 years. I'm a 4.5 player and I've had 3 shoulder surgeries so I need a more powerful raquet now as I get older and weaker. Is there a player's frame out there with a bit more power, an open string pattern and an oversized head?

for someone who has had shoulder problems i would make a few suggerstions but i would also talk to a tennis knowledgeable orthopod. you want a racquet that is "arm friendly" is flexible relatively heavy and headlight in balance. you want soft strings ie gut is best forget about luxilon. you want lower string tension for less stress on your arm and fringe benefit more power. and you NEVER want to stop your shoulder /arm strength and flexibility exercises.http://www.racquetresearch.com/ is an older site (2002) talking about tennis elbow but many of the suggestions can be extrapolated to shoulder problems as well. hope this helps
