NYTimes ran two blog articles by Vanderbilt women's coach Geoff MacDonald last week. He suggests Roger struggled in the early rounds because he was working on point patterns meant for his inevitable clash with Nadal. Thought the articles might spark a discussion here, and maybe an expansion by Mr. MacDonald would fit nicely in the Strategy section of this fine site.
