Don't worry about the september issue, John. Publish it in October, November, December...whenever. We all understand.

            John,

While I, and others, eagerly await the next issue, we can eagerly await our asses off for as long as you need. A bit of distraction is good, but whatever you need to do, you do it. We'll be here.

Our best to you, and your family.

            -Shaun

                We've got your back, John!!!

There is nothing more heart wreching than seeing your Mom so ill, especially when you can't do anything to help besides being there. I want you to know that we are all behind you in whatever you decide. Take as much time as you need and we will all be there when you can return. There certainly is enough material on the greatest website for learning tennis to keep us all occupied for however long it takes! You are loved by many around the world!

                Your close friend,

                Michael Friedman, USPTA

                      John,

It wasn't until my wife bore our children that it occurred to me that a person's birthday should really be a day of appreciation for that person's mother.

Your work is valued by this online community. So, we should offer our thanks to your mother for bringing you into this world... peace & healing thoughts and wishes to you, to your mother, and your family during this time of passage.

Not a problem. It means a lot first that everyone looks forward so much to our work, and second that everyone has been so gracious with their thoughts.

Got some cool stuff to put up, I promise.

Publication of the Sept/Oct issue is now set for Wed Oct 14!

Nearly a double issue with a new analysis of Juan Martin Del Potro's forehand, a great, original article on confidence from Craig Kardon, video of Melanie Oudin from the juniors, Marin Cilic in the Stroke Archive and a lot more.

Thanks for all your patience and hope you enjoy.
