Roger Federer is going to do a "Ask Me Anything" or AMA as they called it on www.reddit.com tomorrow may 24th at 1h30pm EDT.
I want to let the community of tennisplayer.net knows that this is a big occasion to ask him questions online. Hopefully, if some of you can participate tomorrow, it's going to be really great and I'm sure you guys have interesting questions!Comment

Roger Federer's Backhand Slice
This is a wicked slice backhand from Federer during the recent match at the Swiss Indoors (against Denis Istomin). Hawkeye now does spin rates as well. Pretty cool.Attached FilesComment

Roger Federer and the Simpson's Paradox. What Every player does better than RF
Very interesting article on Roger Federer. Losing matches when you've won more points than your opponent. Must read...
Among players active since 1990, Federer holds the worst record in matches where the loser wins more points than the winner—but that might just be further evidence that he's the greatest.

Great story
Great link. Especially since I didn't know about Thiem and I was able to immediately turn on TennisTV and see Thiem taking the second set from Murray in Rotterdam.Hilarious article on Dominic Thiem's (youngest player in top 200) fitness coach:

Kid's got talent. If he is willing to pay the kind of price outlined in that piece, he could be a rising star.

Not bad...and a one-hander...like Gasquet he enjoys hitting it most when 10 feet or more behind the baseline. He moves well. He reads the game well too which makes even quicker. I skimmed through the clip and didn't see Murray wrong foot him or catch him off balance once. Interesting...Great link. Fernando Verdasco Hires Thomas Enqvist as his coach
Yet another Swede throwing his hat in the coaching ring.
Verdasco hires Enqvist. Very cool stuff. Always enjoyed Enqvist. A player that had some technical quirks but squeezed the most out of his game to end multiple years in the top 10 and an aussie open final appearance.

Federer and Edberg play with Google Glass.
Via ATP Worl Tour. Great concept, but the editing is pretty horrible. I was thinking about this exact same thing, but with a GoPro camera. Would also be cool to insert a small camera into Fed's bandana. Then, switch to that view if you so desirer during the match. This would make tennis on tv more interesting. Don't even get me started on the camera angles. We need that low court view.
Enjoy!

You beat me to it! I was going to post this as well. I agree, the editing is tough to really get a feel and perspective of the ball striking.
However, not to be outdone, Tomas Berdych posted something very similar a few years back using a GoPro camera. check this out...

That's cool.
One thing that's apparent from the Fed video, is how long his head stays sideways, long after the impact of the ball on the racket. Also, his contact point is so far in front of him, it's pretty impressive from this angle.
I hope we can se more of this from everyone...
Cheers,
