    Cannot locate this article ...

I recently saw an article on tennisplayer about teaching youth the tennis serve, specifically using:
    1. Stand at netting, no ball, hit racquet against court netting
    2. Step back from netting, shadow 3-5, then hit 1 ball against netting
    3. Face court, shadow 3-5, then serve 1 ball over net

I cannot for the life of me find the article. If you have seen something like this can you please post a link?

    Thanks!

Sure it was on Tennisplayer??? The closest I think is this:

In the first article, (Click Here) we saw that by exaggerating certain geometric and technical patterns, players could make significant breakthroughs in their ability to control the tennis ball on the groundstrokes. This article applies the same concept of exaggeration to the serve. Working from the service line, players develop the ability to serve wide...

    Anyone else???

Also, desmond, see the Bollettieri videos, YouTube, free, in which "the serve doctor," Pat Dougherty, is the star. He has a good one where he works with a young Russian lady who never learned how to throw a baseball, with both facing rear fence and doing something close to what you describe.
