I think it was...beautiful. But there is more coming...much more. It is a deep and thought provoking portrait of that metaphysical dimension that we dwell upon. The tennis court. Thank you.

        Nice photos.

There is something mystical, something beautiful, something inviting and deeply satisfying seeing a tennis court. The energy is palpable when you step on a tennis court.

What makes me happy is seeing a tennis court or multitude of courts filled with players participating in our sport.

What makes me sad is seeing an empty court. No matter what the court conditions are (cracks, torn nets, weeds growing), I know that someone, despite the environment, could benefit playing on a less than perfect court. I played on courts less than perfect, and yet, it made me respect and appreciate the game even more. Looking at the photos, all of them elicit specific memories of my career in tennis.

Artistically this doesn't do it for me. I did like photo number 14, though, which I thought was really great.

#14 the good old stars and stripes...I'd never seen that as a court motif...
