    Well, that's not necessarily bad--depends...was there a question in there? If you are asking what I think so long as the heel pad doesn't slip off the third bevel, you are still in good position. Sampras--Federer--maybe Agassi, but further = trouble!


    Of course the easy answer is--change it back...

      So you're grip can go as western as you want, but the heel pad must in some part touch the third bevel?

        No. If your heel pad isn't square behind the third bevel...that's my preference and can't imagine why anyone below a tour player would want anything else--at the world class level some pretty good players have the same: Pete, Agassi, Federer.
