Any chance to get a video clip of Tanner's serve? After all these years, it still fascinates me... but can't find any around (other than on Vic Braden's video).

Yes, I second that motion. It would be great to get some video of Tanner's serve on this site. It would be all the more intriguing if John would also agree to analyze the serve. Tanner was only about 6 ft. tall and was able to generate incredible power and racket speed on his serve even though he used an old fashioned racket. What's also amazing is that I believe Tanner stepped into the serve with his right leg which was the mode in those days and was still able to dominate top players relying almost entirely on his serve as his weapon.

Vic is the man there. If Roscoe ever plays a senior event I'll try to film him but I think he may be in detention at this point.... Personally I think it's more of just a curiosity, but an interesting one.
