    Tracking software

    Hi,

Can anybody recommend any match tracking/analysis software? I looked at ACE Tennis and ProTracker, both for PDA. Any suggestions?

    Software??

Depends what you are trying to track. I have found this system the best one around. Draw 36 small courts on a page. Everytime the ball hits the court, take a pencil and draw number 1,2,3 etc.. where the ball lands, representing the shots. When it lands out put it out, when it lands in the net, you will have 2 numbers on the same side of the court. When a player misses the first serve, place a dot there. By the end of 36 points, you will SEE patterns, know the errors and exactly where they landed, see the winners, the depth, the tendencies of players on big points. I have not seen software that does this yet, but if there is, please let me know. John talks of visual tennis when speaking of mechanics. As you can see from the articles, I believe in Visual tennis in a strategic sense as well.
    Best of luck!
