    safin backhand

hey guys, i know safin puts his right hand in an eastern forehand grip on his backhand, but i was wondering which position his left hand was in. Also, why is safin not in the stroke archive? i could only find him in the high speed.

Actually he is coming up next month. There are dozens of top players there, so I think we can all get a bit too entitled and somehow assume that every top player should be recorded just because we think we would like to see them. It's not quite that simple. He's "only" in the high speed archive??? C'mon. A little gratitude please for what we have accomplished.

You are also mistaken about his grip. That's a mild backhand or continental grip with the right hand. the top or left hand is an old style eastern backhand as is pretty common. It's a 3/2. Index knuckle on the center bevel or bevel 3, heel pad down 1 from the top on bevel 2.
