    Well that very much concurs with how I teach the ball toss. You toss the ball in relation to your style of serve I guess. So few players can hit at the apex successfully. Tanner was just amazing, wasn't he?

    I think Federer's toss is perfect...not too low, not too high...just perfect. It's one of the factors which makes his serve look so graceful, maybe the key factor.

      Serving problems usually can be boiled down to tossing problems. Toss is something all players need to not just practice, but perfect.
