    Darya Kasatkina

    Hey Guys,

Was very impressed with Darya Kasatkina technique from the Brisbane international match against Muguruza. One of the best female tennis matches I have seen.

Both players had compact groundstrokes I think Kasatkina has an ATP forehand and Muguruza a type 2 but still almost always on the hitting side.

What do you guys think of this girl?

I love the sound of the grass being mowed in the background. Over here that's a sign the season has started.

Nice player. I like her focus and work ethic.

I was greatly encouraged in the opening points of the tiebreak because she didn't grunt. She did however grunt later in the tiebreak. Still a girl that grunts just some of the time rather than all of the time is a step in the right direction.
