Great to hear about Nick off the court. No mentions of all his champions, #1's or new tennis product etc etc. Just getting back to the human element. Who he is and where he is from is far more enlightening about his methods than a shirtless Nick on court with a shirtless Tommy Haas extrapolating on big forehands and leaping from one superlative to another. I like Nick the human more than Nick the coach. Not that there is anything wrong with Nick the coach. Pulling back that layer and revealing how unique Nick is as a human will be the first step in appreciating his skills as a coach.
