    Split Step

    I am having troble with the timing of the split step. When is the best time to split step?

      Yea your feet hit the groud when the ball is hit.

        I Disagree

        I'd rather be in the air as the ball is struck, landing a split second later, moving in the direction of the oncoming ball. And it's not so much a split step anymore as a balancing move.

          Going from the pro strokes they seem to land as the ball is struck.
