to get the extra spin to make the ball dip more severely do players just brush more or do they accentuate the forearm rotation ?sort of a reverse windsheild wiper. which would lead to more of a wrap at the finish i think
Both, but definitely there is hand and arm rotation on certain balls on the one handed backhand--so much so in some cases that the face of the racket actually faces the net in the followthrough--more on that later in the article series.
