John: How far into the court is the ball when Roddick makes contact with his first serve? Second serve? Thanks.

Look in the high speed stroke archive. Sideview. He lands a foot or foot and a half inside the court measured from the heel to the baseline.

The toss is into the court maybe 3 feet. But the contact point in relation to the body is the same as everyone else--just at the edge of the front of the face.

Second serve is a little further back--looks like between the head and the shoulder--but mainly just further to the left. High speed archive front or rear views show this.
