    Very timely, and great to re-read. As I watched the final, I kept thinking that no-one can judge Djokovic for his performance because the situation he was in was literally impossible to comprehend for all but about 2 humans on the planet. If only he (Novak) could have had a couple of days away with Laver.

      I enjoyed the reread as well. It escaped me on first reading but I noticed Don Budge haad been turned into a lefty. Scary enough that the 2 male GS winners were redheads (gingers to some readers), but Rocket is the lefty.
