And Rune is in the draw, 1st round vs the demon. Very interesting.

Rune looks very good in taking down the demon again, 2nd week in a row. Stan looked very good yesterday in taking out number 2 seed Ruud. Simply outhit him.

FAA certainly didn't hang around and is the form of his life at the moment. Shame to see Murray dumped out so easily by RBA. Murray has spells where he looks like his old self, but he can't seem to sustain it from one match to the next.

FAA can beat anyone if he keeps that form clearly. Yes, Murray just is not a real threat even to win 250's anymore it seems. Stan fought hard and moves on. It will be interesting to see how far he can go here. Stan vs RBA today best match here.

RBA vs Rune in one semi. Rune is really playing well, he will certainly have to continue to put up good numbers, winners vs errors, to get by RBA. Alcaraz vs FAA, which should be a great one, in the other semi. Alcaraz of course the slight favorite over FAA, but I would pick FAA to win this one. He certainly has much more motivation, as he is trying to make the final 8 for the season ending Master's tournament, and he has been playing the best tennis of his life this week.

The numbers tell the story. FAA routines Alcaraz.

Rune wins in 2 sets earning it the whole way vs RBA. Rune has just impeccable technique on all shots. He volleys well also, also very good overhead. Should be some final tomorrow vs FAA. Rune had over 40 winners vs RBA, super impressive stat sheet for the match. Rune looks like a guy that may actually be able to get through the Medvedev defense.

Rune plays well and loses 1st set. FAA played like the best player in tennis.

FAA is suddenly playing like people expected him to since he broke on the scene in Montreal as a teen.

Rhythm server he was in rhythm going unbroken for the entire Basel tournament, now having won 13 matches in a row.

Rune had some great points but FAA was in control.

After losing in all 6 finals he had played (Always a brides-maid never a bridge) FAA is flying high! Winning 3 consecutive ATP titles: Antwerp, Rotterdam, Basel.

FAA, along with Alcaraz, Sinner, and Rune, are the ones that seem most capable of multiple GS's/Master's 1000's. Medvedev certainly the wild card. An absolutely inimitable game.
