    Great stuff, I particularly like how he pointed out Fed being the gold standard disguise wise when deciding which backhand to hit, the topspinner, the hard slice, or the drop. So true. It has to do mostly with his semi continental 1 handed backhand drive grip, where as all other great one handers seem to have a more pronounced eastern grip, like Wawrinka, Gasquet, Tsitsipas, Musetti, Kohlschreiber. ect. Dimitrov obviously closest to Fed's 1 handed bh drive grip.

        Great article. Was especially interested in the info concerning the inside out drop.

            Thanks for this. There is a way to disguise even the strong eastern backhand grip. You don’t need a near continental grip to disguise the slice. It’s more a matter of the racquet angle and wrist angle in the backswing phase.
